2 Days Hiking to Senaru crater rim and the Peak of Mount Sangkareang (Rinjani Second Summit)

Itinerary.

Day 0: Arrive Lombok Airport – Senaru Village 601m Check in Hotel.

Day 0:
Our staff will pick you up at any location You request as Lombok Airport, Lembar/ Bangsal harbor, Teluk Kodek, or maybe from any main object tourist in ( Mataram, Senggigi, Kuta Lombok,3 (Gili Trawangan, Meno, Air) and will pick up by our representative staff, then transfer to your hotel in Senaru and transfer after trek to next your destination within lombok.

Meet your trekking guide will give a free briefing about the trekking procedure and prepare for your trips. If enough time we’ll guide you for exercise to Waterfall Sindang Gile and Tiu Kelep Waterfall the day before your trek start if you arrive 3 pm.

Day 1: Senaru Village (601m) – Senaru Crater Campsite (2641m)

Day 1:
Wake up at 6:00 am then breakfast 7:00am. Our team of guide and porter will pick you up at your hotel location, drive direct to medical check up, After transfer to Jebak Gawah 720m (office Senaru) usually takes 15 minute. Arrive Jebak Gawah (Pintu Senaru) we will direct to Register check in eRinjani ticket, Our adventure begins around 8:00am through dense tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and variety of butterflies. After 1 hours walk in jungle will reach Pos 1 (915m) at Pos 1. we will takes a short break, Then contnue journey to Pos Extra (1.165m) Normally takes 1 hours 20 minute, at Extra Pos we will takes a short break for drink and snack, then continuing on to Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500m) at this part the trails are little more steep up, Usually takes 1 hours, at Pos 2.

We’ll have long break because our team of porters and guide will cooking for lunch and prepared hot tea or coffee on your request, After continue the journey to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000m) while reach Pos 3 we have been walk out from the forest, at Pos 3 we will takes a short break for drink some water, Usually takes 2 hours, After We will immediately leave Pos 3 climb uphill to Senaru Crater rim (2641m) with beautiful views among Pos 3 and Senaru Crater Campsite, Normally takes 2 hours but depending how on fast we walk, while arrive Senaru Crater Rim Where you can see the most spectacular view after the peak of Mt.Rinjani and We will enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke come from the New Volcano that growing up from middle of the Lake Segara Anak, Our team of poters and guide will set up tents, After porters will cook fried banana and hot tea or coffee that you have before dinner, then cooking prepared for dinner time. Hiking time usually 6-7 hours with distance around 7,5 km.
